As the entire world was thrown into sadness and tears over the passing away of one of global renowned gospel music icon, Dr. Ron Kenoly on the 3rd of February 2026, here is one of his most precious moment that shall forever lives in the heart of Nathaniel Bassey, Steve Crowns and others.
Here is what he said to the three of them and others;
My season is almost over. It didn’t matter who agreed with how I worshipped or my style of worship. And back in those days, everything that we did, all the music we did in church was from a hymn book. But the father put a seed of praise and worship in my heart.
There is a lot more to the story but I know his voice, and I know how to respond and be obedient to his voice.
Nathaniel, you guys kneel, all of you.
My season is almost over. Oh don’t get me wrong. I am not through but there is an anointing, there is an approval.
I don’t even have the words to say but I have watched your ministries from a distance. I have watched and I’ve been able to see the power, the authority, the talent and the gifts that the father has deposited in you. I don’t want to be so arrogant as to say take over from where I left off but, I do want to say, go ahead and take it to the next level.
Nathaniel, I bless you. There is no limit on your life. There is no limits on the power that is going to be manifested through you. Doors are opening. Not just in Nigeria. Surround him with your joy and peace. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. No good thing that he will withhold from those who love him.
