Lola Omobaba is not a stranger; she has a long history in the gospel community. Her ministry journey began at The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) in Abeokuta. In 2001, she relocated to Daystar Christian Centre (DCC) in Lagos, where she became a choir member. Dr. Kunle Pemiloye appointed her as the alto part leader of the DCC choir in 2003.
The superstar singer was introduced by Pastor Sam Adeyemi and debuted her debut album at DCC in 2003. In 2017, she moved to the United States and joined Winners Chapel in Maryland.
