Written eleven years ago, “Aye Nlá” has always held a special place in my heart. In addition to reminding us of our desperate need for a Savior—the One who is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6)—it talks about how life can occasionally feel like a huge, overpowering ocean. The song exhorts us to trust Him fully until we see His face, holding on with both hands and our entire bodies.
